The whole point of this blog is to bring some coherence into my ramblings. Mostly poetry, yes. But not quite :)
It always helps to have somebody criticize what I've written. At least THEN you know they've read it ....
You'll find pretty much constant whining here. No, I've still not QUITE grown out of it. Do we ever ?
Never ending grumbles... here we come!
I haven't read this (because reading Urdu terrifies me!) but Pakistan has been the next Baghdad for years now, what with the "war on terror" -- and other things.
@Tazeen :) Yeh itni mushkil Urdu nahi thee. But yeah, the gist is that this particular Osama incident (which is already sparking outrage a/c the globe due to the Pak military/intelligence 'harbouring the most dangerous man on the planet' theory) - is going to be the turning point in Pak's bachi kuchi sovereignty and is going to act like 9/11 did for Afghanistan.
i read this column yesterday of orya maqbool jan and mentioned in my post too..he is inclined to sufism bit like ashfaq ahmed...he has been saying this for quite sometime and predicting it thru sufis he know. everyone is saying his own story..some say conspiracy theory, some say we were hiding him and few others like him relate it with dajal..dun knw wats the truth..bt its a tough confused era..And things seem really tough for Pak ahead..
@Majworld Oh I didn't know the writer. This article came in a forward email. I was pretty much disturbed to read this kind of a prediction of pakistan being free for attacks by the western forces because of the 'unsafe-ness' of its nuclear assets.
I heard a speech by Sheikh Imran Hossein who also predicted something on the same lines, and related it to Dajjal.
